Interdisciplinary research program housed at Harvard University Center for the Environment
Harvard’s Solar Geoengineering Research Program is up and running. Launched on April 15th, 2017, it is an attempt to pull together a number of diverse, emerging research efforts on this topic.
The program itself has three broad research tracks: (1) advancing science and technology, (2) assessing efficacy and risks, and (3) laying out governance options and social implications. The crosscutting principles listed on the homepage are equally important, beginning with open access.
